Annotation for Germ's Choice
  - Tommy the Cat was included on a compilation called
  Germ's Choice,
released on Germ records, in 1988. The song was selected by Germ, a
popular DJ for the University of San Francisco's radio station, KUSF.
I think it's from one of the demos. The song is an interesting
insight into how the song (not to mention the band) evolved. It's
also cool to hear how Todd Huth's guitar playing makes it a very
different song. I have a feeling they may have re-released this on
vinyl again, as I have seen it a number of times, sealed, in the
compilation section of record bins at some record stores.

 - Compilation of tracks taken from the KUSF demo tape show 1988
includes Primus "Tommy The Cat" recorded by Matt Wallace (Faith No
More buddy and long time producer) plus loads of bands who faded
including Monks of Doom (Camper Van Beethoven buddies) and Shiva
  Dancing.
