Majestic, ambient, doomy, gothic, surreal, lilting, haunting, and uplifting. These are all words that can be used This is rich dark music with classical and celtic overtones. On one hand, this band sounds very serious and pretentious, and on the other, the band sounds like orchestral space music. The best way to describe this release is to note that it would fit in an artsy philosophical gothic film just as easily it would fit in a planetarium. Arcana is Peter Pettersson and Ida Bengtsson from Sweden, and hearing this release it's not at all obvious that it's done by only two people.
