When I first listened to this album, I thought that it fit in perfectly on any of the "alternative"/College Rock stations, say between a Cracker and a R.E.M. tune. That is, until I heard the vocals, which are solely in Spanish and Italian. Upon further listening, I found a distinct hint of Latin music in all the songs, which are bouncy and hummable, but the overall feel remains American. If the lyrics were in English, Eros Ramazzotti would have a shot at the Billboard top ten.
