This was the first time I had been to the Tacoma Dome for a massive and I thought the rooms in the Exhibition Center worked very well for an event of this type. There were six rooms in all, each featuring a different kind of music.
All rooms had great music, and I really think the local DJs have a good sense of what tracks to play for the Seattle crowd.
Highlights of the evening include a classic performance by Sir Mix-A-Lot (which was just as good as the time I last saw him), and excellent danceable sets by DJ Venom, DJ Micro, Jon the Dentist, and Rabbit in the Moon (it was a somewhat subdued set).
The beer room was set in the dome itself, which was a little colder than I'd have liked it. The music there was among the best in the whole venue.
Towards the end, I got handed a bunch of beads by some girl. I don't want to know how she got them but I fortunately was able to be modest when I got it. My daughter still enjoys playing with them.
All in all, a great set of shows at a pretty good venue. Can wait for the fourth one.
