Killing Culture is one of those rare bands where a lot of chemistry exists between its members, which make for some powerful and moving music. Marcus Peyton on vocals blends incredibly well, just like another instrument, with the fiery guitar work of Scott Sargeant, the staccatto-like drumming of Pat Magrath, and Paul Puljiz's solid bass line. Combining the aggressiveness and heaviness of thrash gods like Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer, the music is a delight to any thrash metal lover. There is some impressive lead guitar playing, against a backdrop of crunchy guitar riffage in songs like Live, World Attraction, The Line, and Rhetoric God. The album is a listening pleasure not just for its downright heaviness, but also due to Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian's production. With heavy metal music making such a strong comeback these days, Killing Culture is one of those bands that's right up at the forefront.
