Monster Magnet's latest is one of those albums where every song in it is a combination of excellent riffs (some of them recycled), coupled with a tight rhythm section, and eerie vocals. But the really interesting thing is the use of instruments like the mellotron and theramin to produce some cool experimental noise. It's like the Butthole Surfers, They Might be Giants, Ministry, and Black Sabbath all getting together in a jam session!
