This is catchy alternative pop with a hard edge that might just break into mainstream success. The guitar riffs are loud and crunchy and the somewhat syncopated drumming complements it well. The album starts off with the aggressive Shut Off, which with the right marketing push could be a great radio hit, and contains more than a half-a-dozen hard-hitting songs with similar hit potential (including Six by Six and Numbver One Fan). Former For Love Not Lisa vocalist Mike Lewis definitely is the spearheading force in this band, and his experience should prove worthwhile when Puller begins to tackle the mainstream market.
