Dad's New Slacks is the first of the three tapes that Michael sent me that I listened to. This is a tape epitomising Noise! Dad's New Slacks happens to the name of the radio show that Michael DJs (90.9 WMPG FM in Portland, ME). But there is more of a balance in Church of the Tapesplice/Timesplice, my second favourite tape. There is actually some random structured music (yes, such a thing exists) merged with noise and tape-edited samples of George Bush and Michael Dukakis which is my favourite part of the tape. The third tape, The Success Sequence, is a bit more mellow, but still very disturbing. All in all, it's very cool noise stuff.
