Thrash mixed with a industrial punkish feel. This is their breakthrough album. It is sorta mellow, actually. Much less so than hardcore bands like Prong going industrial (like Prong's Cleansing).
This would've been a great followup to Corrosion of Conformity's Blind. There is a distinct resemblance to the Nine Inch Nails style of making music. It's pretty weird stuff, but it does have the Terry Date (who has produced for Soundgarden and Pantera) influence on it which makes it sound cleaner their previous La Sexorcisto. But there is a lot of musical similarity to their previous release. So is there anything original in this release? Yes, if you believe that White Zombie are parodying all these styles of music! White Zombie have always managed to make me laugh, especially whenever Rob Zombie goes "Yeah!", and this album is no different. The concept, which goes under the sub-title "songs of love, destruction, and other synthetic delusions of the Electric Head", especially with regards to the album cover, is cool. Wait for the last track to finish.
