David Zax programs most of his rhythm section (I think). He then adds on some cool guitars (with an excellent tone) and a garbled voice. Sound familiar? I believe the garbling is accomplished by simply singing in an unique manner instead of processing the vocals. The result? Intelligent lyrics (you can make out what he's singing), dissonant vocals, and clean guitars, all clashing against programmed drums and bass. The songs are all pretty catchy and Zax is a talented guitar player. The background rhythm sounds canned (this might be his intention) and could be improved by processing it and making it more abrasive. You can reach him at David Zax, P.O.
